Targets and Reflections on Fourth Lesson

Second Lesson Reflection

In this lesson I have annotated a front cover, contents page and DPS of the same genre of my magazine. I have detailed critical terminology such as sub images and bylines.

Second Lesson Targets

This lesson we are aiming to continue progress with coursework as well as research magazines and look in depth at front covers, contents pages and double page spreads.

Reflection of First Lesson


I have achieved everything I expected to in my first lesson back. I have estimated what to achieve in A2 to achieve my target grade overall and have planned my pitch and planning across the term.

Pitch Success Criteria


Term Planning

Week 1 - Pitch preparation - flat plans and remakes should be done.

Week 2 - Present Pitch to prospective production company.

Week 3 - Peer feedback and target audience research and planning.

Week 4 - Extensive Target Audience research and interviews.

Week 5 - Photoshoot and Filming for tasks

Week 6+7 - Ancillary tasks to be compete before half term return.

First Lesson Back

In my first lesson back of A2 Media. We have went other new targets for the forthcoming year and discussed term planning. Moreover, we have used AS marks to calculate our personal targets for A2, giving us better knowledge of what to aim for.

The moldboard is made up with front covers of inspirational magazines, including GQ and Men's Health. The moldboard has been designed to be an influence and inspiration to the creation of my own magazine and used to help myself gather insight to the best way and use the best features of a magazine.
